Manip: Luke/Han (slash, NC-17)

Apr 03, 2008 21:30

This is something I made for a long story I recently finished.

It's Luke/Han, maybe rated R or non-explicit NC-17, and probably NSFW. Whilst not explicit it's very definitely slash so don't click if you don't like male/male intimacy. Hugs to sue_chose_this and carrieross for checking this out and giving their opinions :)

You keep on saying that you'd rate it as R or a non-esplicit NC-17 and possibly NSFW. It makes me smile.
I'm sure that if people at work saw this, they would stare at me in a very, very odd way... Maybe I'm a bit behind, but I adore this manip and I think it's definitely NC-17...

Lol, yes - you've got a point there! My old place of work would have the same reaction I guess. It's just that after all the images I'd been looking at - purely for research purposes of course ;) - this started to look a lot less NC-17 like!

Work-wise I only have myself in the same office so I don't need to worry, but when I try to do certain things with other people around I run into problems. I'm dreadful - I put a top layer on my Photoshop images of a work illustration that I can activate when somebody comes looking over my shoulder, then when they want to know what I'm doing I tell them I'm working on my pottery figures.

Great work, looks almost real! And it looks more like a drawing than a manip to me. And - ooh yes, it's definitely not work-safe (glad no one was over my shoulder when I opened the page - or looking at me at that moment ;P)

Thank you :)

I'll be more positive over the NSFW warnings if I do anything similar again :D

I used a finger painting technique to paint over the image so it looked less 'manip-like'. I wish I could draw for real but my efforts aren't getting me very far! If I post any of them they'll probably be friends only until I get more confident - I've friended you and hope that's okay. Mind you, it'll probably be ages before I actually do post one of them...

I like your icon!

Considering I had an early invitation I'm a bit late to this party!

It is really lovely Caryn. I love the way Luke seems to be anticipating a kiss, and I just bet Han is holding back on him.

Han: Don't move.
Luke: I want to move..
Han: Don't move!

*dreamy sigh*

The drawing effect is lovely - soft and warm, and yet you've got lots of detail - the hair.
Gorgeous.

I know what you mean about being unsure of the rating.
Coming straight from the kind of images one inevitably looks through when looking for homoerotic base images it seems rather tame if there's not a throbbing phallus in view!

I'm just so thrilled that you like it Sue, and that you think the drawing effect works :).

I love the way Luke seems to be anticipating a kiss, and I just bet Han is holding back on him.

Han: Don't move.
Luke: I want to move..
Han: Don't move!

Yes, absolutely :D. I like your scenario very much *melts*. Luke's definitely not one for lying there and not moving, so it'd be a big struggle for him, but Han likes to test his resilience! I can imagine he's got a lot of that...

And yes, it's hard to find good quality homoerotic bases that aren't explicit, and I found the exact situation I wanted with this one. Typically it was just about the worst quality, grainiest and fuzzy image imaginable, hence the finger painting!
