On the Occasion of Your 60th Birthday

Today is 60 years since my father Geoffrey Bruce Wintle was born in Sydney, son of Ellen and George and joining two older siblings, Robert and Katherine. This would've made today his 60th birthday, and given who I've become over the last few years, I feel as though this would have been a big milestone event. I'd have organised a huge party and

That's really touching and lovely. It's intersting that you talk about the connection with the ocean because I only have two memories of your dad. One was a visit to him
in hospital a little before he died (i remember him being loud and hilarious:) ). But the other was of him taking us down the beach. I think it was the first time I had ever been to Scarborough.
