HP Umpire Jim Joyce ejected Marlins pitcher Edward Mujica for throwing at Astros batter Bill Hall in the bottom of the 7th inning and Astros pitcher Aneury Rodriguez and Manager Brad Mills for throwing at Marlins batter Gaby Sanchez in the top of the 9th inning of the Marlins-Astros game. It's so funny how announcers are always against the umpires even if they have an obvious right call.

Funny, I was watching the interference footage and thinking how the announcers really laid off the umpires, even Davidson.

We were told in a clinic once, the best way to know the pitcher's intention is to see his face afterwards. Even the best actors usually have some kind of satisfaction showing on their face when they hit a guy on purpose, no matter how much they prostest afterwards.

Those shots in the ribs sure look like they hurt.
