I have been waiting for the Davidson ejections...The season has officially started.

Hard to tell with no replays whether Bob was anywhere close to being right.

The first swing is close. The second swing is fairly questionable. But that is what happens when you push Balkin' Bob. No one there should have been surprised.

Always hated Kirk Gibson.

Good old Balkin Bob picking up right where he left off from his atrocious season last year. I figured he might learn something from last year, and have a quiet year. I should have known better. The guy is a walking powder keg just waiting for someone to light the match.

If Gibson gets fined or suspended for this, then so should Davidson, because it looked like Davidson stepped into Gibson at several points during the argument. Brian Runge got suspended for bumping Jerry Manuel of the Mets a couple years ago, so hopefully MLB was watching this one too. Davidson needs to start being held accountable for his behavior.

I don't think he stepped into Gibson. I think he turned Gibson to face the crowd, thereby placing his own back to the crowd. It tries to change the perception of the fans.

I would pick Davidson over Gibson any day of the week.

What's your beef with Kirk Gibson? Are you an Oakland A's fan that's still mad about 1988?

At the :37 mark of Video #1 is what I was talking about. But after watching it again, it looks like both guys lean into each other at the same time, so I guess you could say they were both wrong.
