This is the first time without a new character to name the chapter after, huh. What about "The Agreement"? L and Light didn't come to one out loud, but there was that silent understanding thing going on. XD If you really want to tease the fangirls you could call it "The (Working) Relationship." Or "Anatomy of a Detective"? (Damn, this is hard.)

Love the last line, LOVE the good/great theme. Was thrown off by I had been so young and so sheltered when they recruited me. Surely that should be "I was so young"? Since youth is a continuous state and not a singular event. This was a fantastic chapter; yay plot developemnt that insn't an introduction!

P.S. What the heck was up with that egg? This is a film noir in-joke, isn't it.
