A competitor to my r/l job had their outsourced India employees use "mock names" like Steve and Janet to make their customers feel more comfortable. My friend Scott is staying with us for the next week until he can find a place of his own. He and his ex had a falling-out and he'd been driving back and forth to work every day from Moscow, since he doesn't really know anyone in town except his ex and myself.
