Firstly and most importantly, happy birthday to the gorgeous
eileenyx!
Secondly and considerably less importantly, I've been feeling a little sorry for myself over the past week or so because I'm annoying like that. So, inspired by the ever lovely
malinowy (♥), I thought I'd remind myself of some of the little reasons why I should pipe down and cheer up.

2) You love Gilmore Girls as well? Ah, you just get more and more wonderful, you really do. I am totally addicted to that show right now.
3) Thank you, love.
4) He knows it, too.

Aw, I love the things that have made you smile! Well, myself excluded of course, but I'm glad that I can make you smile. You know, the reason why I disappeared from LJ for a year was because I felt like I was always writing miserable posts and making people grumpy because of them, so it's actually really nice to hear that that's not the case anymore. :)
PS I'd love to see what your shoes look like!

1. I think your love for Harry Kewell is adorable. :)
2. Aww, Stevie. :D
3. People keep telling you this, but Traces is fantastic and you deserve all the praise you get for it. And more. Honestly, I never thought anything like this would get written in the football fandom, and least of all I would have expected it to get written for a request I made, but you did it and for that (among so many other things) I worship the ground you walk on. Traces is one of my top three favourite fics in this fandom already, and I do a happy dance whenever you post an update. :) Seriously, I still don't know how to thank you for this.
4. LMAO, Philipp Lahm is hilarious. :D
5. Love your cat's collar - and the pink thermos! :D
What makes me happy recently? TRACES. :D And other amazing fic, like dfotw's The Beauty of the Young. Also, I ( ... )

Neither did I, which added to my nerves because I didn't know whether it would really fit into the fandom, if you know what I mean. But as I've said, the response has been so pleasantly surprising, and what I'm especially grateful for is the fact that you're enjoying it.
I don't know much about Philipp Lahm, but he seems unusually intelligent and witty for a footballer! I stared at saw someone at uni yesterday who was the splitting image of him.
Yes, I was so pleased when I saw Llorente come on against Scotland (I'd been crying out for him to make an appearance since the beginning of the second half) and then he SCORED and it was wonderful! So happy for him, and it's so good to see new attacking talent come through for Spain.
I didn't know that you were learning Basque! How impressive!
Football should be everyone's lives. Two hundred points for you.

He's been campaigning for HIV awareness in Germany for several years now, and he regularly gives anti-discrimination interviews.
Aw, what a great example to set.
Well, any Basque is better than no Basque! Does 'osasun' have anything to do with Osasuna?
