the map of the world is on you.

Stolen from malinowy.

The problem with LJ: we all think we are so close, but really, we know nothing about each other. So I want you to ask me something you think you should know about me. Something that should be obvious, but you have no idea about. Ask away.

Then post this in your LJ and find out what people don't know about you.

Shoot.

I just love you.

The best thing about Australia is the diversity of it, I guess. It's Westernised and multicultural. It's very relaxed but has a wonderful arts culture and there's enough of an emphasis on education to satisfy the nerd population. Even the weather is very well balanced. It's not a place in which you can feel easily ostracised, I think.

I haven't traveled enough to think where else I'd like to live! I would love to spend about a year in Scandinavia but I just know I'd cope terribly with the weather.

I don't have a favourite food, to be honest. I don't like food all that much.

My cat. When my ipod plays a good string of songs in a row. When my stomach doesn't rumble in class The knowledge I can genuinely be myself around some people and they feel amused by it rather than threatened. Finishing a book and starting another.

Hahahahahahahaha you.

Uhm. I honestly want to go everywhere in the world (except perhaps, like, Connecticut or Brisbane or whatever) but the next place on my list is Turkey. So that's my dream vacation right now.

Hi :)
I just wanted to know what your favourite songs are! I really love my music and so I find it impossible to choose just one song so that why I put 'songs'. But, I'm nosy as to what other people like XD You don't have to put a meaning/explanation if you don't want.
So, yeah. What are your favourite songs?

Hello. C:

Ooh. My favourite song ever is 'Sleeping Lessons (the RAC mix)' by the Shins. I don't know if it's legit to have a remix as your favourite song, but I don't really care. I love it because the lyrics are gorgeous, they're sung with such warmth, and the whole arrangement builds up so subtly and beautifully to a glorious climax.
I also love 'Love For Granted' by Phoenix, 'Everybody Wants To Rule The World' by Tears For Fears, and 'Warning Sign' by Coldplay among about a hundred others. :)
What about you? I'm quite curious now.

I'm also curious as to how you found this entry, given that we haven't added each other as friends! AND I'm really sorry for the late reply.

Of course remixes count! I'm really into my rock and like practically anything Green Day. I also like Gipsy Kings - especially Bamboleo because I'm pretty into my Latino music too :) My music taste is rather eclectic because another favourite of mine is Because of You by Ne-yo lol! I usually take to songs with a smooth uncomplicated beat and rhythm and some sweet lyrics or none. My favourite song without lyrics has got to be Faena by Gipsy Kings because you can feel it - goodness that sounds sappy - because the title of the song fits with the music (Faena is Spanish for Labor).

I came across your journal months ago but only recently got an account in March. I was particularly addicted to Traces, but, haven't got around to reading the final part yet :D (I'm actually gonna do that tonight) Plus I read your Iker/Cesc - Fated to Pretend - and totally fell in love with your writing. But, I was too nervous to add anyone as a friend so you've been on my internet bookmarks for about 4 months now ;)

Oh, I'm so sorry, this is another late reply!

I'm going to go and download Faena now. I hardly listen to any instrumental music and I really need more of it in my life. I like the idea of songs letting you feel something And I love Bamboleo!

Oh, thanks so much, love! I'm so glad you've liked the stories, and I hope you enjoy(ed) the last part of Traces.
Please don't feel too nervous to add me! I'm nice, I promise. Though my RL entries are far from interesting and (as you now know) I tend to reply to people quite late. So I guess if it's only the fic you're after, you're good. :)

Do you feel awkward about giving out personal info online, even if it's like your name?
Why do you write fanfics?
What are your hobbies?

There. :D

I do and I don't. I'm probably more uncomfortable with talking about my name, my city, etc. than I am about revealing quite intimate, personal things about my life and my ~feelings. I guess I like the anonymity of being online.

I write fanfics because I love writing full-stop, and I think it's always helpful to have something of an audience for your writing, to get feedback and such. I read football fanfics for a couple of years before I started writing it and it's a nice little world in which to improve your general writing skills and get your ideas out there. You don't have to worry about introducing and describing your characters, for instance. You can just leap straight into the nitty-gritty of your story.

My hobbies are reading, writing, making clothes, and making electro-pop music. What about you?

Thanks for your questions, and I'm sorry for the late reply!

I love that you stalked my journal. And I don't mean for that to sound egotistical. I just can't believe how awesome you are ( ... )
