I'm not writing football slash anymore. I just don't feel any affection for these characters, knowing the flawed, changeable individuals to whom they are attached in the real world - knowing the limitations of these attachments. I like them so much more when I change them completely ( Read more... )

Why would I ever think about deleting you? On one hand, I will miss your writing terribly, and I'm sad that I won't get to see your WIPs ~progress, but that is why I have "Traces" saved on PDF. I know I will be rereading it from time to time. Creepy? Probably.

On the other, I care about your life and I have a lot of love for you as a person. So there. You're stuck with me, I'm sorry to report. ♥

♥ ♥ ♥

I feel bad about starting those WIPs and never actually finishing them. I would definitely finish a couple of them if I had the time, because I made the characters bitches anyway, so there's no question of ~liking them. But there are only so many hours in the day, y'know?

Hi, Jen. :)

I'm glad you get what I mean! Not that I'm happy that you no longer have any desire to write football fic, but it's nice to know that what I've tried to spell out here makes sense to somebody.

Ha, maybe I will come back and post something. I do have so many half-written stories just sitting here. We'll see, I suppose!

Oh, it could well be time to go back to our roots! Write the new 'Animal Farm' or something. :)

Life in general is well. Uni, internship, etcetera. Going one day at a time.

I hope you're splendid. As I said last time, let me know when you're free to meet up! ♥

Hey!

Yeah, I know what you mean. Having said that, after watching the Tottenham match, I almost had to eat my words because this plot bunny hopped into my mind. Then work got in the way, and the longer I let plots stew, the more I think it's a stupid idea, so that's now been shelved. But you know, maybe one day, there will be another fic!

I don't think I can write something as meaningful as Animal Farm... ahhaah, maybe I can get the animal part of it, but definitely not the politics side of things. =).

Going one day at the time is indeed a good motto. Same goes here, I'm just trying to get through each day as it comes, what with some unexpected consults/emergencies, you just never know!

I definitely will let you know. Most of the time when I do have a day off, I spend it sleeping becuase I'm so tired, but I'm going to make an effort to get out there and meet up one of these days! Or maybe I'll take holiday leave =P. hehe.

I was really :((((((( when I read about your decision not to write football fic anymore. Not just because I'm such a huge fan of your writing and adore all your fics and am a very greedy person who always wants more of awesome things, but also because it seems to me that there's less and less high-quality fic in this fandom (or maybe I've just grown overly critical) and it's such a shame to see another really talented author lay down her quill. *sniffles* *clings to your leg*

BUT!!! I understand why you're doing it, and I'm really grateful for the many wonderful fics you've written during those last three years. You played a huge part in making this fandom a happy place for me, and I can never thank you enough for Traces especially. I was completely overwhelmed by it when you posted it and I still am now. I think I've re-read it about 20 times, and every time I notice something new and am once again baffled by the fact that someone actually wrote this gigantic, epic, brilliant story for a prompt of mine. Thank you for everything ( ... )

Aw, man. What a lovely message. I'm both sorry and flattered that you're sad to see me stop writing, but I hope you know that I probably wouldn't have been writing at all if it weren't for you! You have always been so generous and encouraging. So thank you for everything. ♥

And I'm so glad that you still want to be my friend on LJ! I would have been gutted if you'd removed me, honestly.
