I'm running out of journal titles with the word "sketch" in them!!!
Well I'm still going strong with the doodles :D This is mostly more D-COM characters plus I was playing around with amorphtheus's Ceras for a bit.
I drew this guy once before, but here he is again, I could have sworn he had a name once, but I forget it now... maybe started with a W? Something cute like Wilson...
Anyhow, this guy belongs to Katie, and he's a species of Mercilarcer, which is a D-COM creature with no eyes but this little slip of skin that slides over the muzzle as opposed to a mouth. This kind likes to burrow for food and seeks it out with it's sensitive tentacles. They're used by D-COM kind of like scenting dogs to pick up particles and residues and hunt down items. Katie is part of the program that helps train them up, so this guy is still young.
Katie showing us how she totes him around. I love the idea of D-COM using smaller animals that can just cling onto the shoulders and tag along with the officers.
And he looooooooves Troy
Troy isn't too good at keeping him under control though. He's like a big wriggly ferret.
Speaking of Troy! Have some more drawings of him! I've been trying to figure out his outfit's color palette.
Action posing, bam!
Troy and Tony, the two oldest members of the team. Getting Tony's face right is a pain, since I need to make him look like he's related to his brother (Neil, who I've drawn a couple times) while still making him look different. That is such a noodly sketch, but I might clean it up later.
THEN... I was drawing Allison's lock Ceras :D He's really fun.... still trying to figure out that hair. I'm tempted to finish off that dark and broody portrait, I think the conflict he wrestles with is really fascinating.
And here he is solving a rubix cube (Idon'tknowwhateven)
I thought he'd like some tentacle face kisses.
And that's all!
I think I need to scan my moleskine again too, starting to build up a lot of good pages.
