reminds me a little of the time last summer when we kayaked on a lake and had to come back home into a headwind. I totally wore myself out paddling home and was unable to function normally for the rest of the day. I should have let my brother tow me in.

Hope you recover soon and that your belongings survive in a good fashion after the trauma!

Oh, Bruce! That is not only a sad story - of you doing good - but quite scary, also. I wondered what you meant, when you told Hans the water was coming out of your shoes. I sure hope the phone recovers - as well as the items in your wallet. I know money does not mind getting wet - but driver licenses? Not so sure. Glad you are now dry, safe and sound.
