It's been about three months since I posted an entry in this sucker, so I figure it's about time. The most exciting thing that has happened to me in those three months? Last night I was attacked by a bat. I don't mean a Louisville Slugger, either. I mean a bloodsucking vampire bat

i did a report on vampire bats freshman year in college. the term "bloodsucking vampire bat" isn't actually all that correct; they don't bite you and suck out the blood. rather, they carefully position their bottom jaw's teeth below your flesh and then their top teeth come swinging down like a paper cutter, opening up a huge gash. they then precede to lick up the blood with their tongue. thinking about it this way - if it went for your jugular, you'd probably be dead! just thought you might like to know.
