Thank you for bring up this topic. Perhaps one reason we don't talk about going to the restroom or washroom, as they're called in Canada, is because we all have to do it and we do it and that's that. It's a part of everyone's life and we all know what goes on. There's no mystery about it. Just a thought.

BTW, there was a Seinfeld episode about taking reading material in to the bathroom, and in the movie Along Came Polly, there was an entire scene with Ben Stiller on the toilet performing "operation #2." I'm sure there are more restroom scenes out there, but those are the ones that came to mind.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have to use the lavatory.
