Nothing comes between me and my Reeses. Nothing.

So today while I was munching happily on my Reeses, also know as the deadliest candy at WHS, I was bombarded by several signs informing me that I was violating the "peanut friendly" policy.  You wanna know what I felt?

RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGE!

Yes, it's true people.  I hate the "Mr. Peanut will never, ever enter ( Read more... )

Seedless watermelon owns. And as for the allergy policy, I along with other stduent reps. to the school committee are going to compile a report and present it at an upcoming meeting. I mean, really, even the individuals being protected oppose the policy(Sam). And if high school is effectively preparing students for the real world, then they should abolish this 'safe haven' "nut-free" environment. Because in reality, you adapt to the world; it doesn't adapt to you.

i hear you, but speaking as one of the people with a nut allergy, it's a severe allergy and any contact even with a desk that someone put a reeses or something on could put someone's life in danger. The slightest contact with a nut could potentially kill me or anyone else with a nut allergy. I know that realistically I won't be able to stay away from nuts all my life, but if its a question of living or dying, i'm sure as hell going to try. unfortunately it's impossible for me to adapt to the world when nuts are involved because i shouldnt even get near them. and just so that you know, you might already be aware of this, but at the first school committee meeting involving the nut-free issue a bunch of students from WHS went protesting the nut rules. Their protests went nowhere though seeing as the doctors and parents stated their case of the severity of this matter ( ... )

You are definitely not being a pain. I here where you're coming from. I like hearing the opinion of someone with a peanut allergy. Thanks.

P.S. I would really like to learn how to use your epipen. I'm not quite sure if that's how it's spelt, but I really want to know how. Just in case something ever did happen.

The researchers who work on seedless watermelons are different than those who work on nut allergies.

People are working on nut allergies.

I agree with Stephen and disagree with Jacki.

I second Katherine.

I know that people are working on allergies. The whole watermelon thing was just something me and Peter were joking about.

Secondly, that french horn thing was supposed to be in the music thingy. My mistake.

I agree with Stephen, but I also agree with Jacki.

I also think someone should go to the Halloween dance in a Mr. Peanut costume.
