I spent the last 3 1/2 hours writing up all the winners and my little comments on stuff.. I finally will post them. I love the Academy Awards but they killed it tonight.

LotR should most def. not rot. One of the best movie series ever made and Peter Jackson, cast & crew deserved a lot of those awards.

*shakes head* no way. JRR Tolkien and the Special Effects crew are the only one's who deserved anything. I am having a huge debate with people over this already.. hehe. I agree they deserved SOME of those awards.. but far from all of them, especially not Best Film.

Take out all the effects and you're left with crappy actors in a fantasy movie that should have stayed a book. Never will a movie live up to the book it's based upon.

Oh and look what categories they weren't nominated in (any of the acting ones.. lol)

hey you know who this is i just thought you might want to know my lj since i know yours, just to be fair. I also need to say that all good actors had to start somewhere they didint just automatically become famous and lord of the rings was a good movie and a better book.

I know actors have to start somewhere.. but a lot of them are not new actors
Sean Astin (been around for over 10 years)
Liv Tyler (At least 7 years)
Orlando Bloom (a few years now..)
Elijah Wood (quite a few years..)
Cate Blanchett (same as the above)
etc. etc.

I have nothing against them, just the acting they did in those movies. I love Liv in "Armageddon", same with Sean in "Rudy". Just my opinions though :)

And Jeff, I already knew your journal.. I looked up your screen name.. haha. But it's all good. Just a little creepy that you read my journal still ;)
