I want to read Clockwork Prince now and City of Lost Souls yesterday! I'm so worried after these teasers. I NEED to know what happens to a parabatai when one of them dies. So worried about Will & Jem and Jace & Alec. I guess it lets you know how attached I am to your characters that I worry about them like this.

I don't think whatever happens to Parabati when one dies happens to ALL of them.... afterall, weren't Luke and Valentine Parabati? So its either not always the case, or its not THAT horrible.

Thanks for posting Jace's letter to Clary it was beyond amazing. As for the quotes from the next book, well, let me just say that I CAN'T WAIT for it to come out. I will be picking up Clockwork Angel up later on this week and am looking forward to reading that trilogy.

I haven't posted on your journal in ages because I've been avoiding your books - not because I didn't think they'd be good, but because the very notion of demons as a major plot point made me nervous and twitchy. However, my husband bought your book a year ago and, due to a deplorable lack of reading time, let it sit by his bedside. A week or two ago I decided to give it a shot, was immediately drawn in, and am now about 3/4 of the way through City of Bones. As it was just my birthday, I've now got an enormous pile of gift-books to wade through so it might be awhile before I continue the series, but I did want you to know that I'm enjoying your professional fiction debut. Continued good wishes for the rest of your (plural) series!

Also, favorite line so far? It's the Mortal Cup, not the Mortal Toilet Bowl! :D

Those teasers are killing me. I can wait for the next book, but when I read the teasers it just makes me want the book so bad. I am holding back from being crazily ecstatic though. Last time I did that to a series, it turned out being horrible. Your writing would never be horrible though. About the Isabelle part of the title. I would be so pleased to be her in the movie, I got the attitude that she has in real life. It would be really awesome to be her. Yet you are probably already picking them, so oh well. Your books are so amazing, do you think that maybe you could give me the plot line of the series? If you could that would be awesome, then my imagination can go super wild, the title's and teasers are giving me a lot of stuff to run off of, but the plot would be awesome. I'm hoping to be a writer myself one day, any pointers?
