I deliberately didn't re-read the book, because I knew there was going to be loads they couldn't fit in. It's been so long since I read that one that I can't really remember too much about it - and I didn't want to spend the whole film going... damn... wtf? Figured I'd just take it as a separate entity to the book. So I really enjoyed it!
I loved the humour as well! I laughed in it loads! I'm beginning to think Daniel Radcliff does humour better than anything else. He was in an episode of Extra's (I don't know if you get that over in the US, but it's written by the same guy that coined The Office) and he basically played himself - but as a complete sex-crazed 18 year old perve. It was absolutely cringe-worthy hilarious! My respect for his acting increased 10 fold.
