... by complaining yesterday when I didn't really have that much to complain about. During the night Charlie proved to have some evil stomach ailment and repeatedly woke up vomiting. The poor boy. So - no nursery for him today, and no nursery tomorrow either ( Read more... )

Oh, ick.

We have no real decent Mexican food here, unless we go up to Junction City (which feels v. far away, but is less far away than Toronto.) Any more I just cook here. A high school friend and I joke that we should open a decent taqueria, because we'd clean up....

Really? I thought everywhere in the US had decent Mexican food! But maybe you're too far north.

M and I have made the same joke about opening a Mexican place in Oxford. Actually, a Mexican fast-food place recently opened here, and it's not too bad. The American students are keeping it alive. But the food is bland and just not quite right.

Nah, Oregon cuisine is...well, it's Ethnic Food For White Persons, which is probably exactly the same problem you have in Oxford.

(I am now having flashbacks to Scottish pizza. Which was made with ketchup. I ate a lot of deli sandwiches in the UK....)

I had no idea there was a Chipotle in Toronto, that would have made us happy when we lived there...

Puking is not fun, so I hope it does not hit you!!!!!

I did, for three years. It is an awesome city, but WAY too cold!
