Hello dear flist!  First of all I'd like to send huge hugs to everyone and especially my dears ladyithildiel  and laurelinofwotr .  My thoughts and prayers are with you always, even if I can't be here.

Well, I survived closeout of the fiscal year once again at work.  The overtime nearly killed me this time; I'm just getting to old for this kind of stress.  :(  Or rather the ( Read more... )

I am so glad the fiscal year is behind you! It really sounds as though your hard work has created a reputation and is about to be rewarded one way or another. I know how slowly those wheels turn, though. *waits*

Wow, tree wells, ash pits, door seals...I think I want a house more than anything but I wouldn't know how to take care of it. I am glad you are getting things in shape before it becomes too cold!

Yay for JK Rowling!

Yes, I'm waiting too and trying to be patient. lol It will be easier this week, I'm off until next Tuesday! *bounces*

lol Well if you had an old house like we had in New Jersey, you'd surely use your imagination to fix all the lil problems that might come along. It's too expensive to hire a contractor. And with your artistic ablilities you'd probably do a far better job too. ;)

It surely is tense, especially with the relationship between my boss and I. He loves to argue with me just to put me in my place; below him. :( But I'm off for the next week so it will be a different atmosphere! *bounces* Today, I'm going into town to visit my brother, I haven't seen him in ages! I'll be looking for you on msn when I can, Precious! ;)

dug a pit for winter ash? it's like a whole other world out there, isn't it? I need to re-read HP too...hope things get more calm for you!

LOL Yup, it's much different from the DC area. Lots of open spaces, yet the woods are all around too. And our refuge hauler won't take ash for fear of burning up his truck. If we get caught slipping it into our trash it's a hefty fine. So we dig a pit. ;)

I'm trying to read HP slower this time, but there are parts that have me reading in a flurry just cos I'm enjoying it so. lol

And Yay, I'll have calm for the next seven days. I'm on leave! *grins and cuddles my poke*

*hugs* I wish your new job would start too hon. I feel for you. I hope the new one will far outshine the old. :) And of course you're doing a fantastic job! I'd have expected nothing less, knowing you. ;)

You've been quite busy. In your spare time can you come help me winterize my house?? lol I'm funny aren't I? Spare time indeed. *sigh* Oh for a vacation for all of us! I'm dying to read Harry Potter again but alas there's no time for now. *sigh* Soon...

Aw, *blushes* your so sweet. But I think you are the exact same way. ;) I had a boss once who used to call me 'Type-A' but I would call it integrity. And I see it in you all the time. ;)

LOL I'd love to winterize your house. Especially with the green woods that you have around you. I love the desert and the mountians but sometimes I miss all that green.

Hey, I decided to take some time off; told my boss I'm major burnt out. So I'm off for the next seven days, just soaking up that "spare time". *bounces* I hope you find some soon, dearest. I can imagine what it's like with a baby, school and the stress of yours and your Hubby's work situation. I'm keeping you in my prayers every day, dear Laur. *huggles*

Aww, I'm glad you get a bit of a break my dear. You deserve one for sure! Thanks for the prayers. We need them currently. Things are a bit...hard. *sigh* You're in my prayers too hon! Always. *hugs*
