They sure are scary! I never knew we even had them in this part of the country when I was growing up in Albuquerque. But since we've moved back, there have been three in our area. :(
Thanks! Well, I'm told I have it...just have to wait for them to go through the motions of competition. ;) I just wish they'd hurry up! lol
I am glad all you ended up with was some lost power from that tornado!
At least the guy understands how much you've done and that you have earned the highest possible praise. Now if he'll live up to his reluctant agreement to take the ball.
I hadn't heard they delayed HBP. Is it because of Equus or something else? Candi just saw Equus in NY.
Yes, at least he does show appreciation...lately at least he hasn't argued with me over things. *sigh* And I do see him making a little bit more effort. But then he keeps saying he wants to leave too. He's applying for everything that comes by too.
Yup, Warner Bros was supposed to release HP6 in November but decided they would make more profit if they hold off for July 2009. There are some really P'd people out there and even some really worked up YouTube videos. The Hitler one is hilarious. I didn't know about Equus, but I don't think it played any part in the HP delay. Filming was complete a while ago. Equus sounds really dark and sad. I don't think I would care to see it.
So good to see you too my Mellonanna! *glomps and rolls my Gina*
I have very strong feelings about Equus. Yes, it certainly is an emotional rollercoaster. A lot of plays seem designed to be disturbing, and sometimes I am up to that and sometimes not. I was dating a man who played Daniel's role in Equus in an excellent college production. I don't think I will ever forget it. I was totally mesmerized by his performance (he's a mind-blowingly talented actor), but I forgot who he was. I mean, literally. He wasn't Michael, I wasn't Gina. I don't think I even knew where I was. I am still astonished at my reaction all these years later. It took me hours to snap out of it and days to get over it. Traumatic, yeah, but I don't think I can explain to you how honored I am to have been there to experience it in that way in that moment. LOL, sorry, didn't mean to get all deep.
Generator...and a wood stove I hope? Gee we have a lot of weather up here all the time but we don't have those extremes. Glad it didn't come to close to you.
Screw silly bosses. *harumphs*
I don't think much about HP, I just wait patiently. *is angel*
Yup, we do have one of those efficient fireplaces that has a blower to heat the house. It's burning right now in fact. ;) I'm so glad it didn't come close either, although those clouds passed right over us before the twister formed. We were surely lucky! The damage wasn't bad though because it touched down in the plains, only tearing up power lines.
Lol Bosses sure can be a pain!
Well, I was doing well to wait too until I decided to re-read the books. Silly me. lol *snuggles angel*

HP again? I do enjoy that fandom, you should give Twilight a go - it's quite good as well :)

Twilight? Hmmm, I'll have to check into that. ;)
