Four women and one man sit round a table. They look confused and wary, but when assured that this is just a dream and nothing they say will impact their world at all, each of them nods or shrugs and leans back in his or her chair.

Stella: I've lost a son, regained one, and have one living.
Cass: Not yet.

Oscar: I like mexican food.
Asha: Lamb the way my mother makes it.
Rose: Coffee with lots of sugar.

Stella: *nods* Yes, sadly. I try not to.

Oscar: Not anymore, she's gone.
Asha: No. Maybe. I'm not sure.
Rose: No, he isn't worth that much energy.

Stella: Not anymore.
Cass: Why do you ask?
Oscar: For the mortals around me, yes. Not for my friends.
Asha: Yes... I like secrets.

Stella: When I was half dead in the hospital. That's the only time.
Cass: No, I don't have time for that.
Oscar: Yes, back when I was a sad loser.
Asha: I'd like to, but my mom always wakes me.
Rose: *frowns* I do sometimes forget to sleep for a few days, does that count?

Stella: I only watch the news.
Cass: I always liked knife-throwers.
Oscar: The animal planet stuff about predators.
Asha: Science shows.

Stella: *smiles* Asterion playing his lute for me.
Cass: I like dancing music.
Oscar: *grins* the howling of wolves in the night.
Asha: I sort of like asian music with weird rythms and stuff. I don't know anyone else who likes that.
Rose: Don't know, as long as it isn't slow. And I hate lovesongs.

Stella: Dark brown.
Cass: Blue, very very blue.

Stella: Typical Greek. Flawless sun-tanned skin. Shiny black curls at about shoulder length. She is short and slim, but by no means looks weak. A very attractive woman who looks far younger than she is.
Cass: In one word: perfect. Long blonde curls, unblemished skin and very nicely built.
Oscar: A bit on the short side, fluffy brown hair, in good shape but not overly muscled.
Asha: She's arab. Olive skin, black hair, very pretty. Very young.
Rose: Tall but skinny, she looks underweight, pale from lack of sunlight, and not very healthy. Her hair is a mess, and painted purple.

Cass: What? Aren't those demons, like, from another dimension? They're real enough.
Oscar: Nothing would surprise me now...
Asha: No. Please don't tell me they're real too??

Stella: Natural, though lately my body has been badly damaged and restored quite a few times.
Cass: Yeah, well, I was born allright. Depends on what you call natural.
Oscar: Natural birth, unnatural death, possessed by immortal being. So that's a... both?
Asha: Whu? Natural, I suppose. Well, maybe not, but cloning seems a far-fetched hypothesis.
Rose: I'm not a clone. You go ask my father if I'm natural.

Stella: Car. Easier to get out of. I hate submarines.

Stella: *raises eyebrow* I'm the Queen of Greece, former wife of Olympian Apollo, Avatar of the God Asterion, who was my son when he was alive - can I stop yet?
Cass: My mother is a water elemental. She forgot who my father was. I used to kill people for money. I am going to marry a prince.
Oscar: Well, I'm a demon.
Asha: I can do magic. I have dreams about my previous life.
Rose: Yes, I am the best at what I do.
27) How much food/drink do you need a day?
Stella: Just... normal, I guess.
Cass: Not that much, I'll live.
Oscar: Lots of protein at the moment, I'm building up muscle.
