ok went mad with icons hehe... only five, but I got bored after i had splurged my artistic side...

I just noticed that my first post has a double meaning. *lol* How immature of me?! :P

I made the picture b&w, then I moved the b&w image to a new "file", making sure that that the new file's Mode was RGB Color. I went to create a "New Adjustment Layer", and chose to work with Color Balance. I tweaked the color balance till I was happy.
