I especially like "you're a good bird", because whenever Kamran manages to get me out of bed to go to the gym before I work, I say things like, "I'm such a good girl." I know, not the same at all. But you should teach him to say, "I'm a good bird."

Also, talking about birds is better than talking about other pets, because they TALK and FLY. So you're not a creepy old cat lady just yet.

Oh, I already went through the creepy old cat lady phase with Cassia, remember? I'm past that now to full-on crazy old parrot lady. Although, if I had had a LJ when Charlie was alive, I most surely would have been a crazy old parrot lady then, too. I mostly kept Zoe out of the LJ, though, so I guess I'm really at heart just a crazy old unpredictable lady. The bottom line being that I'm crazy and old. And a lady. Kind of.
