On May 27th, 1997, the Austin area was hit with the worst cluster of storms in recorded history.  In town, Lamar and Shoal Creek Boulevards were completely submerged in flash floodwaters, and more tornadoes touched down that night than at any other time...pretty much ever.  A few of those tornadoes were F4s and F5s, one of which completely
