An odd gift to the flist from my mom...

I mentioned to Mom that some people were posting recipes, she gave me one to post.  I hope I have it right.  It's pretty easy, but I don't think I've had it.  Mom said it is a good holiday treat.

Cherry Angel Food Cake
1 can of cherry pie filing
1 Angel Food cake mix

1. Mix the cake mix and can of filling together and pour it in a loaf pan.

2. Bake

It's almost like a dump cake. I love it. It sounds really good and looks extremely easy! ;)

It really looks easy and I'm really sure that is what Mom said. She told me on the drive back to my sister's. She made it and took it to work.

When I say it's almost like a dump cake I mean it *is* a dump cake! XD Yeah, I'm sure you've got it right! I have a recipe for a chocolate one that uses devil's food cake, a can of cherries and a can of evaporated milk. Cool! :) If your mum ever makes the pineapple one, let us know how it turns out!

I think Mom will make the pineapple one before Christmas. She also has a fudge recipe that uses cake icing. I prefer her Fantasy Fudge. It is a mandatory part of my Christmas.

Everyone is pouncing on this. I hope I got it right. I'm posting it from memory 2 days after the fact. I was thinking the filling replaced the liquid so I hope it's right.
