The new Ben Folds record, by all accounts, will probably just be alright. I've cooled on him in the last few years, though the old records still kill. Songs For Silverman hasn't held up that well, "Landed" excluded, while the newer songs leaked last month range from derivative("Cologne") to defensive("Way To Normal").
