I grew up in a household where it wasn't proper, so to speak, to show or share your emotions. As a girl, that's tough, but that's how it's always been. If you were anything but happy, you couldn't show it...at least not in front of other people. I remember those awkward years, where life is nothing but one huge never ending ride of emotions. Oh please it's one of the best versions I've heard so far but if you'd like I can go in search of a Lennon or Wainwright version. A Ben Folds version at the very least. This one, though...is up there with that. Get used to it babe, your music is awesome.
