The river of tears was brought to its knees,
Tortured by the river of hate.
As their waters crossed and churned
And the bubbles rose from the depths,
The love river drifted to the sea.

She was alone with her thoughts
Unable to find any comfort
In the arms of her lover
Where tension had caught

She dances on the moon 
While he leaps from star to star 
Oh how I wonder what you are

Starchild, cowboy, prince,  
My knight in shining armor,  
My flower in the sand dunes,  
Come home soon.
