This was the first thing I ever wrote for this fandom, I just ended up having to edit some parts as I read the books. Vaguely spoiler-y for character backstory, I suppose - it includes details from a Jaime flashback in ASOS and reference to an event during Cersei's childhood that you learn about in AFFC. I love how well you capture Cersei's desire to remove herself and her child from anything even remotely connected to Robert, and Jaime's insistence on being there for her was touching <33

I love how you've described Cersei's motivations for the incest. You've totally got her voice down. I like how Jamie is at her side during the entirety of this fic, and yet Robert is nowhere to be seen.

Thank you! Eeee, wow, that means so much, ngl she's totally my favourite character (or tied, at least) so yeah, very happy you thought so! And mhmmm, I felt like that was very much the way it seemed to be with everything, and from what was described, and just very much how the whole Robert/Cersei/Jaime dyanmic seemed to exist, if that makes sense.
