Argh wtf, I realised I wrote a comment for this but never actually posted it (I got distracted or something and figured I'd do it later). I suck, haha. Anyway...

OH MY GOD. I can never get over how well you write them! This is all just so insanely in character ( ... )

Haha, don't worry about it! I suck for taking so long to get back to you, but honestly, asljdsldsl, just flailing everywhere, I am just so thrilled you liked it so much, and this comment is too lovely, and guh ♥

So pleased you found them in-character through all the different parts, it was difficult trying to keep them such through the various time periods, so that definitely means a lot (: I definitely wanted to show very individual looks at how they handled the transformation/everything through the years, even though it was all Rebekah's POV, so it's great that Klaus worked for you too! And the Stockholm note is really interesting, I completely agree that there's that sense of her being trapped, and a clear power imbalance between the two of them. Klaus was the only one that had any method of killing Rebekah (even if not permanently), and I think that speaks a lot to what dynamic there would be ( ... )

This is so fantastic! And I'm sorry it has taken me so long to read and comment properly, but wow! This is just amazing. I love the way you write, and the understanding you have of both Klaus and Rebekah and their relationship. The pacing of this is perfect, as Klaus becomes more and more cruel and Rebekah becomes more and more horrified with him and then with herself as well. And just, the flip of them from when they're first turned to later--she says gods and he says monster, then the other way around (sort of) is stunning and perfect and believable. I love this so, so much.

She doesn’t know how to love anyone who isn’t her own blood. and As if the concept of loving anyone that is not one of them - that is not family - is ridiculous.

WONDERFUL. PARALLELS!!!! I love parallels so much and your never feel forced, but truly organic.

It is no wonder they wear so many skins in the same bodies, she thinks. It would be entirely too confining to be merely one person for hundreds of years. This theme running through it so interesting to me ( ... )

Oh gosh, don't even worry about it, I am just like, aljdlhjskhfdks, flailing yeah, so very happy that you enjoyed this! I absolutely loved the Klaus/Rebekah fic you wrote a few months ago, I think I commented all flailing on it lol, so wow, oh gosh, it honestly means a ton to me that you like how I wrote them! (I checked you out a little ways into the exchange and realized who you were and was basically like !!!!! ahaha)

So thank you, thank you, so much! <3 I am so glad you liked the parallels and the pacing and all that, pacing was one of the things I was most concerned about, where to spend the longest, if it would seem rushed anywhere, etc etc, so that's hugely nice to hear. Ugh, just, this whole comment made me grin so much, sorry it took a bit to get back to you, but just, yes, thank you, lol this is not turning out to be very coherent either, oops. Thank you!
