I am so thankful that things got out of hand, because this is just an amazing piece. I loved the close mapping of canon and how you've just enhanced all these familiar scenes with Lydia's perspective - so sure of herself and at the same time completely in over her head. And that morning scene and the fantasy that followed was a real "I'll be in my bunk" moment, which is my highest compliment for smut. ;) Thank you so much for this gorgeous story!
