jesse isn't sure how he's ended up here, ended up like this, with andrew and emma, ended up with this relationship that isn't normal. he knows it isn't normal, but somehow it doesn't feel that way. he's the link, and yet he isn't, still feels like the third wheel in his own relationship that happens to involve three people.

but it doesn't feel like madness, not when he comes home and starts to cook dinner and andrew wraps his arms around his waist while he's at the stove and sometimes emma drops in and kisses them both on the cheek, already gabbing about her day and how her yoga instructor is a total bitch but completely kicks her ass into shape, and andrew laughs, the breath rippling into jesse's ear.
it doesn't feel like madness, either, when he's in the shower and emma hops in, helping him with the spot on his skinny back he can never reach, laughing at him when he inevitably gets shampoo in his eyes, making him do a stupid dance because dancing
