You lose one of your contact lenses in the shower but are unaware of it, assuming that it's gone loose in ur eye and try to take it out of your eye - standing in front of the mirror for a minute trying to find it mostly rubbing your naked eye trying to look for the contact lense ( Read more... )

you are not alone!
i did think mine sucked its way to the BACK of my eyeball! and freakishly thought it was very comfortable (had this happened). but alas, it had fallen into the sink!

I did think that too - I was pretty sure it hadn't though - I went back to the shower and made sure it was on the shower floor, otherwise I would have had this uneasy feeling.

Never leave the faucet running while handling your contacts T_T

Although, I'm glad to say that it at least takes a kick to the face for me to lose a contact otherwise. That was also another hard lesson...

Upto now, I've lost my contact on two occasions, one of them happened while driving (I may have told you about this). It came out when I rubbed my right eye, so had to drive with one eye for a while until I could stop and put it back in.
A kick to the face probably would mean that losing a contact lense would be the least of my worries.
