Okay, Scotty defending Christine's honor is new levels of adorable. As are his twin troubles. They do seem to have an almost telepathic understanding of how to make the whole household miss sleep at that age. (Was living with my brother and family when they brought his home.) Totally geeked out over the whale jokes too. Do they have enough transparent aluminum?
*GRINS* When we started this story idea (which was a looong time ago) It just kind of happened that Christine started helping Scotty with the twins and romance was in the air. HAHA. Though I'll admit the ONLY good thing about Movie 5 is the Scotty/Uhura romance... SO CUTE!!!!
I hope our twins live up to it! HAHA They are definitely going to be getting into things.

Scotty is scary when he's bored. But the twins are here to alleviate boredom. Scotty only wishes now to be bored. :D
Loved his whale wallpaper, by the way. :)
Christine is a jewel!
Also, after my jaw surgery I had my first bout of TMJ. Awful, awful thing. Luckily, I don't get it too much these days. Does a hot pad or ice pack help? For me, sometimes heat helped and sometimes cold helped. Very odd. Feel better soon! *pets gently*

The whales were actually Christine's padd. Scotty had sandwiches for his wall paper. Yeaaaah poor Scotty he really has no idea what's in store for him... MUWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Logan and Wallace are going to give him gray hair early in life.
I've tried Icy-hot, a hot water bottle, heating padds, advil, and a lot of other things. I've had TMJ for about 12ish years, but it's NEVER been this bad. Where my jaw meets my cheekbone is literally throbbing and I have no idea what to do about it. My ortho referred me to an MD/Dentist specialist TMJ lady who... doesn't take insurance >_< So now I have to call my insurance company and see if they'll cover it. I figure I'm paying for private insurance they dang well better cover it!!!!!

oops! My bad about confusing the wallpapers.
I know how it is when nothing seems to work to help the pain. I hope your insurance company comes through and that the TMJ specialist can give you some relief.
One thing that helps me is glucosamine with chondroitin (over the counter dosage), in liquid form. Some doctors say it's beneficial and some say it's harmless snake oil. I do know it works for me, though. It helps to cushion, lubricate and rebuild cartilage. TMJ is caused by various factors but with me, the cartilage in my jaw was worn down. A nurse suggested it to speed the healing of a badly sprained ankle years ago (it worked a treat for that) so I tried again when the TMJ first flared up. It did seem to make a difference.
This is not an overnight miracle cure but it may help you, given time, depending upon what is causing your TMJ. You might want to talk to your ortho about it or the new TMJ specialist. They may indeed tell you it's hog wash but it's worth a shot. Best of luck finding some relief, hon.
