Artist Notes: Once upon a time, the lovely cherie_morte bid on me for Typhoon Haiyan Fandomaid. What she requested was an illustration for her upcoming fic "A Doll's House." And oh, yes, she surely did name this sweet and delightful love story after one of the most depressing plays in the history of mankind. Intentionally. Oh, you sick, sick puppy, you . . . I love your brain!
Cherie came to me with a specific scene in mind for illustration, but after I read the draft, my Muse had other ideas. So we compromised. :D And Cherie, bb . . .? Your emails were True Things Of BeautyTM :D
Please consider the art as a sort of "teaser trailer" for the upcoming fic. Cherie has given her kind permission to post the art pre-fic. It will not spoil the story. I'll be reading the polished version with the rest of you, but from what I've already seen . . . it'll be awesome!
