I'm still around! I post less often, I know. Ironically that has more to do with 'real life' than with facebook. (Ok, yes, FB is a part. But still.)

My life over the last two years has been about building community in St. Louis, so that I have local friends. It has also been about building my hardcore tech professional skills, since I sorta fell behind on tech for a bit while I was busy being a manager instead. It's also been about helping my poly family settle in to St. Louis.

All of these things are remarkably difficult to blog about effectively (especially since I dislike talking about other people who aren't there to speak for themselves), so I've kinda been living quietly instead.

But I still read LJ regularly, and I do try to post when I have something to say.

i hear you -- i've met so many great people via LJ, some I still remain in contact with since 2001. i miss the intimacy that LJ encouraged and nurtured, something that Facebook and the like have never been able to capture. miss you. :(
