There are some things about my job which I grow to detest more and more each day.

I detest myself even more for putting up with said things.

I would really like a change.

Of course, I've been looking for a new job ever since I started working here. It's been 2 years.

Yes, yes, yes and yes on all counts. Rewriting my resume keeps me sane. Sometimes I wonder what myself from a few years ago would think of all the compromises I've made over the course of the past few years.

Don't be too hard on yourself though. We do what we have to to survive in a place like this.
