the sadder thing is that now the Batman film will be a hit and it will make so much damn money just b/c he was the joker. I believe that falls under exploitation. poor soul.
I'm pretty sure the Batman film would have been a hit regardless of his death. It's not so much exploitation as it is a schedule that the business has to follow one way or another. The release date being pushed back or the film being cancelled would be illogical.
And I literally couldn't believe it. It was the most random death ever. I was convinced it was one of those internet rumors, like Kel Mitchel dying... it was devastating.
thats what i thought too but then i saw it in the ny times and i was confused...
i think it would have been a hit anyways too.. my my point was that more people will see it now just to be able to say that they saw heath ledger in his last movie.. kinda thing ya know?
I thought this was a hoax when I first found out...it's just so tragic because he had so much more to look forward to in his life, but I guess it was just his time
