Hello! I work in a Vet hospital as a vet assistant I am planning on going back to school to be a technician/nurse. I am wondering if you have any knowledge on the difference in education worldwide, Canada and US seem similar UK and Ireland seem very in depth. I'm thinking of studying in Australia but it seems more vocational than science based, for example doesn't look like they teach pharmacology or genetics, disease, anatomy? I could be wrong but I don't see any of those courses in the curriculum, I read a blog for someone saying they were surprised the responsibility australia nurses get due to school not being as in depth as UK. I am wondering if you think that is a disservice and your learning won't prepare you as much for the job say if you wanted to work in another country? Not trying to offend anyone I am just curious!
