Art swag from con

For the past few years I've managed remarkable restraint in the dealer rooms at Dragon*Con, mostly because I like making my own costumes/accessories/props, rarely find t-shirts I like, and have limited horizontal space in which to display other things. However, I have plenty of wall space, so I usually come home with something from the art show

They're lovely! Anything stained-glass-like makes me happy. :) Also, the Napoleon octopus makes me glee--I have a Napoleonist friend who would either be MORTALLY OFFENDED or enjoy the hell out of that print. I'm really not sure which; it pisses her off anytime I call him Boney, but she has a copy of that original painting.

I am so in love with it! The blue he chose for the ocean waves and bits of sky is just so gorgeous next to all the gold and red. The dragon doing the "divine wind" thing is green, not black, but I'm fine with that. It doesn't have to be actually Temeraire for me to love it.

Wow, those are all gorgeous! Especially the stained glass.

I'm definitely a sucker for stained glass. Can't wait to get this one up on the wall :D

I found these that I love.

And I am just now discovering they've gone out of stock and am sad I didn't buy one there or order it right after the con. Boo me :/ jk ThinkGeek has them brb ordering
