I am constantly intrigued by whether Merlin can actually heal Arthur's serious wounds. The canon is a bit contradictory; he can heal him when he and the other knights were poisoned by Borden, but he's never been able to heal him when he's close to death. So...I wonder if that's deliberate foreshadowing (like all the sly inferences to Merlin being immortal), or just bad writing. I hope the moment we find out is not Camlann-related, ugh. (Possibly I give the writers too much credit. After tonight, re-thinking that.)
I also wonder if the possibility of a Mordred/Morgana alliance is totally out. He is more powerful than her, I suspect, and probably he could "persuade" her to sign on with him. I really wonder how that's going to play out. Can't wait!
Yes! Maybe actual physical damage he can't fix, but things like poisoning he can...but then he was gonna try and heal Uther as well, who had physical damage, and he would've succeeded if not for Morgana. So, yeah. Maybe just bad writing there.
After all she did for him, I was REALLY surprised her turned on her. Hopefully they'll address that more!
