I just want to say for everyone that participated and donated yesterday (hair or money) that the atmosphere in the auditorium yesterday was unlike anything I've ever seen. Coming together like that was unbelievable - a real bout of dedication, spirit and selflessness.

Hi castaphiore,

I made a mean sarcastic joke reply to you in the Queen's community tonight. I thought it was funny at first, then i realized how horrible it actually sounded. I didn't clue in that really, i shouldn't be making sarcastic jokes with first years who are just trying to get to know what to expect of their Queen's experience. I also shouldn't be using such dark humour with a stranger ... that joke was seriously not funny, and i feel terrible about it. I'm really sorry, and i honestly didn't mean any harm - it was only afterwords that i realized how mean it all sounded (the internet is a bad place for sarcasm, it always sounds so harsh). I deleted the comment so as not to encourage others. I hope that you won't let my mistake, and the sarcastic jokes of other older students, get you down. Again, i'm very sorry.
