Hi Marybeth,
Congratulations on choosing to play accordion..it is super fun. When you are looking for an accordion I would recommend getting a smaller one. The one's I play are not full size (full size usually has 120 bass buttons). If you are just beginning you won't be needing all those bass notes and it makes it heavy. I like italian accordions

not fair!!! When I wrote her about accordion she never wrote back! congrats and have fun with accordion! I have child size one and it rocks but it's quite primitive compared to the awesome thing you'll pick up~!
