McSweeney's Internet Tendency
(this in particular is GREAT:
A Contest of Convergences
Yummy narrative journal
via The New Yorker; one could spend all day searching back. Read Alex Ross' music pieces - he's a genius writer.
More Alex Ross
here
at his blog, The Rest is Noise
Perez
, juice celeb gossip, the Trix and/or Cookie Crisp of Internet breakfasts
Boing Boing
will keep you busy for as long as you're willing to poke around on it. It's a self-proclaimed "directory of wonderful things."
Slate Magazine
, which recently churned out
this awesome piece
on author's preferred draft fonts.
You Yes You
, Jason Sho Green's doodle-blog. It's a receptacle for other things, too.
