I watched Geir Westby play Edvard Munch in this 1976 Swedish TV biopic and fell absolutely in love, not only with Geir but with Edvard Munch himself. Before, my interest in him was a rather casual one, although I had seen this in person fairly recently and found myself transfixed.

I love, love, love Edvard Munch. I was obsessed with him at one point. So dreamy.

Have you seen this biopic? The documentary style of it caught me offguard but I ended up really liking it. It's edited in a claustrophobic, bipolar style that I feel is pretty appropriate for a crazy like him.
