Notes/Prompt: This was a pinch hit using the prompts Cas-centric but set in 5.04 universe and something centered around Cas' relationship with Gabriel. This was my first time trying to do Gabriel and I still don't think I quite captured him so I apologize for that! You can see this as gen or pre-slash as you prefer.
Summary: Gabriel watches over Castiel in the 5.04 universe.
I made a few versions, mostly playing with the concept of this becoming an apocryphal text of the Winchester Gospels. I imagined this scene as Gabriel coming to take his leave of Castiel before all the angels return to heaven, and maybe trying to reassure him that this existence is only a bad dream (and not even Castiel's).
