Don't archive this, because I want someone way more awesome than me to fill this. Seriously. Claudia deserves a better story.
"Have them make a chest of acacia wood--two and a half cubits long, a cubit and a half wide, and a cubit and a half high. Overlay it with pure gold, both inside and out, and make a gold molding around it. Cast four gold rings for it and fasten them to its four feet, with two rings on one side and two rings on the other. Then make poles of acacia wood and overlay them with gold. Insert the poles into the rings on the sides of the chest to carry it ... Then put in the ark the Testimony, which I will give you

In Zimbabwe there is a whisper of the Ark, the Lemba certain it is in their midst: the chair of Nwali. He steps into the inner sanctum of their synagogue, from the streets to the chamber in one breath, and his vessel looks upon a box of gold and acacia. The cherubim bow towards one another, bird wings touched tip to tip to form a seat, eyes fixed on the contents within in continuous guard.
A man wizened with age, hair wispy and white, dark skin wrinkled and back bent, sits against the opposite wall. Castiel does not see him until he speaks: Child.
His eyes fly wide; Castiel flares his wings open, filling the room, to flee, but he is too late.
The Judgement within the man pins him to the ground, gnarled fingers gripping his vessel by the neck, cheek ground into the floor. Firstborn seeking that which God gave to Man: tell me why I should not spread you to the stars.
The weight of the Judgement's glory bears down on Castiel until he is pressed flat, his vessel gasping for air. I do not seek the Ark for the power God bestowed in

Sam and Dean get turned into werewolf puppies. Castiel does not have time for this, but ends up having to look after them anyway (since he doesn't trust anybody else to do it). Which means taking them to Heavenly board meetings and trying to stop them chewing the furniture. Bonus if the boys then foil an attack on Cas by proving that even if they are werewolf pups, nobody messes with their angel.
Sam had a lot of time to think while in the cage. He wants Castiel, and he drags Dean and Bobby into helping him. (If he also manages to rope a Cupid into delivering flowers while Castiel is on important angel business, so much the better).
Dean, Sam and Cas decide that after all they've been through together they might as well start a relationship. So that means both brothers have to learn how to help Cas groom his wings.
Dean/Cas - Dean's had abandonment issues since Sam fucked off to Stanford. Cas fucking off for a year and his here-then-gone-again behaviour? Not helping him deal with their ~*~profound bond~*~.
Bonus points for Robo!Sam being snarktasticly blunt about it.
