I love the last two paragraphs. Into itty bitty pieces. It sounds so... domestic. And sweet and Dannoesque. Mostly, adorable.

I think it's probably because Danno is so filled with adorableness that his POV is just naturally more... adorable.

There was, at one point, a draft version that read, "Danny belongs with Steve. Belongs to Steve," but that threw off the flow of the paragraph a little, so I took it out. Clearly it is still there in spirit. ;-)

Yay! I'm glad I managed to get Danno's voice on the first try! It's such a fun voice to write in. I'm really, really glad you like it, CG.

Well, yeah. Obviously. And OMG I LOVE the idea of "Belongs to Steve" haunting Danno. And possibly ending up tattooed somewhere on his person (*ink!kink rears its pretty head*).

Danno's voice is funnest (totally a word) when Steve is doing it to appease hostage-takers.

That's where I fell in love with the song. Still gives me a serious case of the happy sighs.
