Castiel Novak watched the way the children ran around their front yards, the pumpkins already set outo n the porches. He sighed, looking back down at his book. "Dad?" Pastor Remiel Novak poked his head in, and Cas looked up. "Can I go out later?"

"Did you finish your homework?"

"Yes." his ravenete father nodded, leaving him alone. Cas sighed, turning to look back out of the window again. His neighbor, Samuel Winchester, was trying to rake the large pile of leaves in the front yard, but h is rake kept stopping at one part.

Bitch face deluxe, part one, soon crept onto the teens face and Castiel could only imagine what had him upset. Sam was a passive agressive guy usually, and only one thing could piss him off. And sure enough, that cause reared it's ugly head.

Dean Winchester; the older, albeit shorter, brother of Sam.

And his head really wasn't all that ugly.

Castiel shook himself as the thoughts bombarded him. He watched Dean slowly sit up from under the leaves, pointing in a sweeping arc across the street. Finally, his finger landed on the window Cas was watching him from. The ravenette chuckled, reading the blonde's lips.

It was a Monday, a day like any other day. I left the small town for the apple in decay. So Dean was singing, Foreigner.

Cas ducked his head, snickering slgihtly as his friend stood up and started dancing, kicking the leaves up. Sam twitched, glaring at his brother's back and raising the rake. He pretended to scrape the points down Dean's back and Cas smiled slightly.

He stood up, quietly opening the door and crossing his leaf colored yard. "Hey Sam, when you're done, how about you do mine?"

"How about you go screw yourself?"

"Aw, Sammy. Don't be that way," Dean teased, turning on his heel to grin at his neighbor. Castiel recoiled slightly at the beautiful hazel eyes staring into his own blue. "Now I need you desperately. If you've fallen for another, let's be honest with each other," Dean crossed the street easily as he continued to sing, and wrapped his arms around the pastor's son.

Cas presses his hands against Dean's chest, trying in vain to push him away. "Dean, I-"

"We can't be strangers. You mean too much to me; I won't let this be a love in vain," Sam watched the two with interest, as Cas stopped trying to push the taller and older teen away. Pastor Novak, leaning against their front foor, watched frowning.

"Dean," Cas whispered, staring up into mischevious green brown eyes. His pulse is quick, he swears he can hear his heart, and Dean's lips are just a few inches away. He bit his lip, trying to decide.

Should he risk their friendship?

His silent debate was quickly interrupted when Dean grinned. "You look like a puppy." That's all it takes for Cas to glare and shove DEan away.

"Jerk."

"Bitch," Dean replied, waving at Remiel. "Afternoon, Padre!"

"Dean," Castiel froze, silently cursing God.

"Dad," Cas turned around, looking at his dad who smiled as he ran a hand through is hair.

"Oh yes, I can see you two definately getting together." Remiel teased. Dean grinned, winking at the pastor over Castiel's head. He turned Cas around, making the teen squeak.

"Can't you?" he asked, before leaning down and kissing the corner of Castiel's mouth. The ravenette's breathe stopped and he tried turning his head away; only succeeding in forcing their lips together.

Both boys froze, neither able to look away from the other as they seperated. "So-sorry," Cas muttered, trying hard to fix his breathing. Remiel tilted his head, watching as his son ducked his own. "I, um, have to put my clothes away," he stuttered, running away from the blonde.

Dean merely blinked, turning to look at Sam who was grinning. "What the hell's your problem, Sasquatch?"

"Nothing," Sam shook his head, laughing quietly.

"Bitch," Dean grumbled.

"Jerk."
