It's a good thing I've gone to so much college, because the only jobs I've ever liked are the ones that require less than a high school education*. Farmer, groundskeeper, gardener. I also like manual labor to be involved in my job ( Read more... )

Which poetry prof.?

I weeded (wed?) in a lady's yard near the Arb last year in 4 hour blocks and use to count how many worms I found. I would sometimes find nearly 200 worms, or maybe more, in 4 hours! Now that's some healthy soil! Then I would play a game with myself and try to find more worms than I did the day before. I usually won.

worms are cute, but my new fave has to be the slightly colorful, slightly large centipedes/millipedes (not the kind of small, shiny black creepy ones). they seem nice.

the soil at this house is quite amazing as well. so dark and silky!
